Chapter 67: Warm feeling
Time for the hug to stop.
Time for her to go.
Feeling the hug for so long, Clara made a small movement; A little nostalgia he had to let go of her, and a little regret suddenly emerged in his heart.
The two shyly looked at each other. Feeling that she couldn't stay any longer, Clara hurriedly said goodbye to him.
"I have to go, bye!"
Clara gave him a farewell look in her eyes that had a little bit of unwillingness to leave.
"YES!" There was a soft low sound, and Roly nodded in farewell. His gaze followed, unwilling to let her go. But I can't do anything else.
Her shadow disappeared behind the door, only that scent remained in the air with the wind.
Feeling that he couldn't stand anymore, he shuffled over and sat down on the chair tiredly. Looked at the distant sky, secretly hoping to calm down.
Clara hurried to the bus stop, just in time for the bus she needed to arrive. Clara climbed into the car, as usual, she opened her bag to get a traffic card to present to the driver.
Strangely, the car card disappeared, she rummaged through the bag and couldn't find it.
Everyone was looking at her annoyed because of the delay, the driver hurriedly typed.
"Hey lady, hurry up!"
She looked around the car, then watched the driver bow his head apologetically, then quickly got out of the car. Clara took everything out of her bag, but still couldn't find it, Clara bit her lip trying to remember where she had last seen it, where it was, suddenly a small memory replayed when she opened the bag to take it. The phone card and car card fell out. Surely it's still on the roof.
Without hesitation, Clara hurried back to the school, she ran as fast as she could. Clara just kept running up to the roof, unaware of a mysterious look that followed her hurried stumbling with malicious thoughts.
Hana expressed anger when the last class lasted until now, ruining her plans to go shopping this afternoon. Walking out the gate, muttering to the lecturer - the bastard who couldn't suddenly let the class stay and practice, harassed Hana for spending all the time she intended to spend on satisfying her wishes.
Throwing away her vibrant, vibrant red hair, she hit her hips, in a haughty manner walking proudly in branded high heels, how chic does that pose look?
Being extremely frustrated, she caught Clara from the gate hastily running, making Hana even more annoyed, a disapproving click of her tongue, she watched her every move, Hana's reaction as if she had just met something. something so terrible, how could there be a filthy, untidy, sloppy person like her? Hana thought to herself and then felt contemptuous of herself.
When Clara ran past, she deliberately pretended not to see, and squirmed to avoid touching her, she was afraid that she would smell like her if she came into contact with her.
With a wave of her hand, she behaved as if some smell had just filled the air where she stood.
Hana pretended to be fixing her hair, to avoid the strange eyes others were giving her.
Her actions are like someone with a mental problem, a bit outrageous! Some people's thoughts.
Suddenly remembering something, she stopped and turned her head to look at Clara. She just climbed the stairs. Without hesitation, she hurriedly followed behind.
It's not like Hana just remembered an important thing, Clara should be at home by now, last night her mother told her to go home early to prepare dinner to welcome guests, now she is still here and is about to there's something fun for her to say. She will play a very painful game, then calmly watch the mother-in-law play that she sees every day.
When Clara had stepped out onto the terrace, Hana inside quickly locked the door behind her. She will lock Clara here, her mother will not forgive her anyway.
The more she thought about it, the happier Hana laughed, then covered her mouth to keep silent, maybe someone would hear her laughing, didn't bother to watch the scene where Clara hummed for help, she crept down.
Roly fell back on the chair, eyes closed, and seemed to have fallen asleep. It was good that she couldn't blink, so she was in this listless, tired state.
Everything has been resolved satisfactorily, he can safely close his eyes, thinking that no one will destroy his wife and the peace he is enjoying.
Unexpectedly, suddenly a sound sounded, the door suddenly opened, right after that Clara rushed to the place where she had sat and talked with the cat.
In such a hurry, Clara ran past, not knowing that someone stood up from the chair and looked at her in bewilderment. She did not know that he was still here, much less knew that she had just broken his quiet moment.
Clara laughed happily, gasping for breath, fortunately, the car card really fell here.
Breathing evenly, Clara picked up the card, then quickly turned her head back down. To her surprise, Clara was surprised to see the person standing in front of her, her eyes widened in panic. Lips moved without saying a word.
"Why are you still here?"
Roly stared at the girl, her hair disheveled, sweat pouring down her face as if she still couldn't breathe comfortably. He asked worriedly.
"What's the hurry?"
Clara shook her head to reassure him, holding up the card for Roly to see. He quickly understood the problem. Suddenly everyone felt shy. Silence interrupted again until she took the initiative to break it.
"Then I'll go first."
Clara was about to ask him why he hadn't returned yet but realized she wouldn't allow it. Signing goodbye, she headed for the door again.
Roly didn't say anything, just stood still, gave her a faint smile, and averted his eyes, telling her not to look at her.
Despite her best efforts, Clara could not open the locked door. Panicked, she grabbed the handle.
Hearing the sound, Roly turned her head to look back.
"What's wrong?"
Clara turned to look at him, her face changed color, it was white, and her hand trembled on the doorknob, knowing what was going on, Roly did not hesitate to step forward, trying to open the door to see how. Seeing that, Clara automatically moved aside, making way for him.
No, it's not stuck, there's something blocking the inside.
What the hell is it? Roly cursed under his breath, and tried to push the door again, but still couldn't, he quickly turned to see Clara frantically looking at the clock.
"Is it important?"
Clara raised her head, and timidly nodded.
What should we do now? I will kill you! A deadly thought had just dawned on his bewildered mind. Roly tried again, but still no change.
"Someone's locked it inside."
Roly made a conclusion that even she already knew. But it didn't change her restless expression.
"Clara! Are you okay?" He began to feel worried about that strange expression.
"So what to do now?"
Suddenly, she asked, her expression panicking.
"Don't worry!" He gently reassured her: "Sooner or later someone will come to save us."
His smile was believable, but in this situation, Clara just wanted to get out of here quickly, otherwise, terrible consequences could befall her.
"When? Is it Long?" Clara hurriedly asked. Her hands danced wildly, he was concentrating hard enough to decipher all the characters he had learned.
"Perhaps tomorrow morning, all the students have already left, and no one comes here often."
Clara became lost, her eyes glittering with fear. Seeing her frightened look, he quickly patted her, hoping she would calm down.
"Don't worry, someone will soon find us, and I'm still here."
Clara shook her head to dispel the terrifying thought that had just popped into her head, she vehemently didn't want that to happen again.
Being tortured by her mother and daughter is more disturbing than being locked up here overnight, the consequences are terrible, enough is enough last time.
She didn't want, absolutely didn't want it to happen again when her chance was near. Who knows what tricks she will play to punish her this time, maybe she will lose her pregnancy this time.
The more she thought about it, the more frightened she became. Roly was suddenly made nervous by her, what was that expression? She kept shaking her head, her body shaking uncontrollably like that?
"Clara! What's wrong?"
He inquired. Regardless of what he just said, Clara suddenly rushed to the door, yanked the handle, Clara frantically pounded on the door with force. She prayed someone would hear, come up here and open the door for her.
Surprised by the sudden action, he only had time to call her, not in time to stop.
"Clara!"
Despite his voice calling, she had no mind paying any attention to him. Roly was really surprised at her agitated reaction, couldn't keep looking at her like that, if he didn't do anything she would hurt herself, he resolutely stepped forward, grabbed her hand, and pulled her to face him. , his hands clasped her shoulders, his gaze coaxing, In his deep, worried voice he gently comforted her.
"Clara! Listen to me, calm down, everything will be fine. Can you believe me?"
The trembling body was suddenly quieted by the reassurance he had just brought, and the two pupils that were moving wildly suddenly returned to one place, Clara tried to breathe evenly, and her eyes returned to a steady state as she looked at him. Roly was really bewildered when her face suddenly turned pale, he could feel her body was very cold right now.
Even though he knew this would make her agitated again, he decided to do it anyway.
"Clara! What makes you so scared, tell me?" His voice was full of the probe as if to keep the panic inside her from rising again: "What will your stepmother do if you don't get home on time?"
Clara rolled her eyes in a sob. She didn't need to answer, her expression was the most accurate result, the reason he asked that was that just now, he had vaguely heard her mentioning her stepmother and her two daughters.
"She hit you? Is that right?"
Roly's voice laced with sadness, unable to imagine what she had guessed was true.
Now Roly knew why she had so many wounds, old and new. She always had a faint smell of stimulant, mixed with lavender, Clara often mixed the two together so that no one would notice. He really wanted to know what she'd been through, but maybe now wasn't the time.
A choking silence. He didn't know what else to do for her right now, except for a hug. Roly loosened his grip, took a step forward, and pulled her to his chest, his hand patting her back, his comforting voice said:
"It'll be fine! Believe me."
Clara felt better, the catalyst he gave her helped her quickly regain her composure.
Thinking that emotions would make him forget his thoughts, it turned out not, he suddenly owed a smile when he suddenly remembered, he needed to call someone.
He had completely forgotten about calling for help from relatives. Quickly letting go of her, he smiled and said:
"I'll make a phone call, get someone to come to save us."
"Really?"
"YES!"
Quickly, he pulled out his phone and immediately called the school's security guard. Not long after, a man in his forties removed the iron bar on the other side of the door.
Clara quickly bowed her head, thanked him, and then flew away, not having time to send him a message. Roly also chatted a few words with the man and then rushed downstairs to follow her.
There was just over an hour left for her to be at home with dinner already on the table.
Oh my god, the bus hasn't arrived yet. Clara's hands and feet were muddled, and her guts were hot like fire, she stopped looking at the clock, she looked forward to the direction the car would go. Time ticked by, and she was still struggling to sit still. While looking ahead, she didn't notice someone who had just arrived.
Suddenly, a forgotten voice called out to draw her attention.
"Get in the car!"
Clara was surprised, he appeared before her eyes again.
"Hurry up! Or you won't make it in time."
Seeing her still standing there, he urged her, one hand reaching for her helmet. Clara timidly took it.
Why suddenly her limbs became slow, even putting on the hat can't be done, her limbs were clumsy and scary, and in the end, he had to help her. It felt throbbing as he brought his face close to hers. With a light and quick movement, the helmet safely protected her head.
In fact, she was always wondering, so she acted so slowly. In the end, Clara didn't think much and decided to let him take it home.
"Wait a minute!"
He demanded that she, who had just gotten into the car, get off immediately, although he didn't mean to tell her to get off, Clara wondered uneasily, what did he mean, or had she changed her mind recently?
She thought it was just nonsense, the truth was that it was colder nearer to the night when there was no sunlight. Noticing that her white neck was bare, he unhesitatingly removed his scarf and wrapped it around her. A bit stunned, Although she vehemently refused the other night's suggestion, in the end, she obediently obeyed in the face of his insistence.
The moment he wrapped his arms around the red scarf around his neck made Clara's heart beat faster than ever. I wonder if he noticed her blushing face or not?
"Ready? Be sure to sit tight."
To avoid overstepping, Clara placed her bag in front of his chest, pressing his back to create some distance. Who knows, he just adjusted the throttle, the car inched forward, Clara got a howl when her whole body because of sitting idle poured into his back.
In general, the feeling of lightheadedness has not ended.
That hurts! She frowned slightly, her eyes were closed, and her whole body seemed to have taken his back as a fulcrum. A little dazed, Clara opened her eyes to meet his gaze, Roly reflexively turned half her head to see if she was okay?
Startled by the close distance, she awkwardly sat back, looking away to hide her embarrassment.
"You OK?" Clara shook her head, still not looking at him, a smile forming, and he turned his face forward, pulling down the visor on top of his hat.
"If you don't want to fall, hold on tight."
Sincere advice from him, no other meaning, just because she thought it out.
"Time flies so fast, 45 minutes left, right?" He looked at his watch to remind her of the time, and on the other hand, she was wasting her own peaceful time.
Finally, with no other choice, Clara had to put her bag behind her back, and sit up a little, her hands timidly wrapped around his waist.
"The car runs very fast, remember not to let go of your hand." He reminded her again, Clara was still very timid, and did not dare to hug his waist, Roly had the courage to reach out and grab her hand to tighten a safe hug.
"I'll lend it to you for a moment." He smiled and allowed her to borrow his waist, clearly just wanting to make her feel more comfortable. With no reason to refuse, she obediently tightened the hug.
"Ready yet?"
He just waited for a nod from her, then stepped on the accelerator and rushed forward, with a speed that would make anyone who sees it stop.
Clara unconsciously, resting her head on his back, her eyes closed, daring not to open, would be stunned if she saw the scene left behind in a split second. Time seemed to stop moving, only her heart beat fast, and the cold wind passed through her skin, but Clara did not feel cold, on the contrary, she felt extremely warm. She felt at peace.
This feeling is so strange! Very warm, very quiet!
Just a moment later, the motorcycle stopped right in front of the house gate. Clara had not yet found the answer to the feeling when she fell on her back, her arms were still hugging his waist even though the car had stopped.
There is a bit of nostalgia. But then I also have to say goodbye.
Clara waved goodbye to him, then hurriedly ran into the house when he had left, and when she reached the main door, she was startled to remember that she hadn't given him the towel yet, that's it for tomorrow.
Without further hesitation, she rushed into the kitchen. Roll up your sleeves and get to work. Hearing noises in the kitchen, Tsunade walked out of the room to find her hastily making dinner. She looked at her watch, lucky for her, it wasn't too late, and the appointment was canceled.
She intended to ignore her and let her self-destruct, so she wouldn't tell her about the canceled appointment, but then again, it would be a waste to eat all the food for eight people, while this family, apart from her, and two children, plus she only had four.
Feeling sorry for the leftovers, she turned to call her.
"Clara!"
Hearing the call, she quickly turned to look at me. Not long, I say right away.
"The date has been canceled, now I have to go out, just cook Sarah and Hana dinner, put the other things in the closet, don't waste it."
She just announced the news and combined it with her face to teach her. Clara nodded to show she understood, she was a bit stunned but then she could breathe a sigh of relief.
"Hurry up, they'll be back soon." She looked at her watch and urged her. Clara went back to work, a little grateful in her heart, today she looks kinder, more comfortable with her, maybe she can find a new gold mine. She was a little disdainful thinking about it, but it had nothing to do with her anyway.
Xenia had just left the house, and it was time for the two sisters, Hana, to return. Needless to say, Hana's face was panicky when she saw her at home instead of on the terrace, quickly turning angry, she stormed into her room, not paying attention to dinner anymore. Clara looked on with a puzzled expression, the two sisters must have argued again.
Suddenly, she caught a strange look Sarah was looking at, she wanted to know, she just coldly snorted and went up to her room.
That night, Clara was happy to tell him the good news. But before he could do that, he sent a message to see how the situation was. He was really worried that she would be beaten by her stepmother.
R: How's it going?
R: Is everything okay?
R: Do you hit?
R: Your stepmother didn't do anything to you, did she?
There were 32 text messages sent from him in less than two hours. Once everything was done, Clara was shocked to know how much he was worried about her, so she went up to her room to text him right away.
C: The appointment was canceled so I'm still unharmed.
R: It's fine.
Immediately she got a reply as if he was holding his phone in his hand just waiting for her text. Clara was so happy, that she couldn't help but smile brightly.
Another night has passed, but tonight is calmer, no more storms or storms like the night before.
Life, it's true that there are too many unforeseen things, the cloudy sky suddenly becomes bright.
Hopefully, in the following days, her life will only be filled with light and quiet moments like tonight.
Clara fondled the scarf before falling into a deep sleep, she had not had a good night's sleep in a long time.Download Novelah App
