Chapter 36: Life goes on
One has never seen such a moody, lifeless Roly as now.
Walking slowly down the busy corridor, her face showing a thoughtful expression, Roly was really confused, not in the mood to pay attention to the curious eyes watching. It was like he was the only one walking.
You've never been like this. That girl really made him lose his mind. Not finding an explanation, he was still not satisfied.
Roly with a heavy mood ignoring other concerns walked away with an empty head. From time to time on that blank screen, a blurry image of her appeared. He shook his head to dispel the image when suddenly Arlo's boom sounded behind him.
"Hey, Roly!"
Then he ran over and put his arm around Roly's shoulders. As a sick person, Roly couldn't keep her balance and nearly fell forward.
Suddenly he woke up. Seeing his friend's unsightly expression, Arlo looked at him suspiciously.
"You look so lost? What's wrong? Sick?"
Stunned for a moment at Arlo's prompting, he hesitated for a moment to answer, trying not to arouse suspicion in Arlo:
"Does it look that bad?" While reaching out to touch his face, he said: "I was thinking about one thing and didn't notice anything." Then he turned to remind his friend: "By the way, next time don't act like that. Threaten other people to death!"
"What?"
Arlo opened his mouth wide, surprised to be attacked again. Standing there, waiting for another word from Roly, he left as soon as he spoke.
Not understanding what was going on anymore, Arlo scratched his head uneasily, then ran after Roly, his expression changed 180 degrees, cheerful, happy as always.
That innocent gesture really makes people hate.
"How was the holiday? You disappeared so we can't find it, call and don't answer the phone." Arlo put his arm around Roly's shoulder again and asked. The two walked together, Arlo excited to know about Roly's vacation.
"It's nothing to worry about, the holiday was pretty bad for me." He answered briefly, then fell silent, clearly not wanting Arlo to disturb him while he thought.
Although surprised at your friend's strange behavior, Arlo didn't know what to do, even if he forced him, he would not say it. Sometimes it makes the situation worse.
There are times when this optimistic, carefree boy also falls into the same silence as other people. Arlo could only shut his mouth and walk beside Roly, with a huge question mark on his head.
...
Clara got ready to go to school, before leaving the house, she did not forget to roll up her sleeves to do some errands that Karrin had neglected. Seeing that, she stopped to touch her hand.
"Leave it to auntie." In a friendly voice, she suggested: "Go to school quickly or you'll be late." She snatched the cup she was clutching, Clara didn't know how to react to the situation. Very surprising indeed. I can't believe she just competed with her to do housework.
Clara stood bewilderedly looking at her, Xenia put the cup into the basin and pushed Clara towards the table, took her bag and carried it over her shoulder, and gently said: "Go. Don't worry about it."
Although she was shocked, Clara did not dare to protest when she vehemently sent her away.
Never mind, no matter what she plots, she is determined in her heart that nothing will ever be shaken by her. Fine, you'll enjoy the peaceful time she gives you. Then slowly wait, how the fox's tail sticks out.
Thinking that Clara felt more excited, she happily lifted her feet to school. Oh! The school she loved, saved her future. The university is named after Konoha.
As soon as she entered the school gate, she immediately caught her eye was the scene of hundreds of students playing in the schoolyard, shouting loudly and jostling each other. The scene was too noisy, and the students laughed and argued. rioting and shoving each other roughly, She would probably think this was a big fight if she hadn't seen the teasing smiles on their faces.
Approaching the entrance, Clara passed a boy standing by the door, holding a thick stack of leaflets. He handed one to her, and in response, she reached out and took it.
Clara looked around, after the school break suddenly became much busier, the students on leave to visit home also returned to start a new semester. She looked around for a while, and saw that some children were crumpling the leaflets right after they received them, they hadn't taken the time to read what it was, others were attentive to see what it was, there must be something wrong. something cool. Others are gathered in groups of seven, talking and whispering, laughing happily.
The familiar feeling when coming to the school really made Clara nervous and excited. Suddenly she looked at her watch, she stopped being late for an appointment with the homeroom teacher. Having no time to look at the contents of the poster, she quickly put it in the outer pocket of her bag, then hurried to the teacher's room. She needed to perform in front of teacher Kakashi when she went to school. Present the reason for the absence of the past few days. It's just a Compulsory Procedure, she has already submitted a leave permit.
...
Despite everything, including Arlo's efforts to try to put him in a better mood. Roly still couldn't change the sullen look on his face, the look of thought that had never haunted him for so long.
It's been a week since that encounter, and Roly still hasn't figured out who the mysterious girl is. He even recklessly stayed in the music room all night for a week waiting for the girl to appear again.
Unfortunately, he fell into despair, and in the days that followed, even the days that were supposed to be witches would come, the girl did not show up. Waiting patiently for him to fall into a crisis like this. Thinking is not clear, forever haunted by that mysterious image.
Roly knew that what he was doing was stupid, but he didn't care what anyone said no matter what, he just thought he was an idiot. It doesn't matter, there's nothing wrong with being curious, not to mention if this is really a mystery or just your imagination.
Fortunately, he still had enough reason to stop that act of hugging a tree and waiting for a rabbit.
Maybe he should give up.
Sitting idly at his desk, he ignored the world of the people around him. Until your negligence affects others. A familiar voice pulled him out of the gloomy world.
"Roly!" For the first time, he was still sitting there.
"Roly!" The second time the voice was not attractive enough, it was difficult to attract his attention.
"Roly!" Neil raised his voice, almost screaming, he was startled, bewildered-looking at everyone in the room, like a fool who did not understand what was going on.
They all looked at him strangely.
"What's going on?" He asked awkwardly when he noticed the unusual gazes directed at his black heart.
"We're in a meeting." Neil insists: "You're not focused, is something wrong?"
Neil stared at him questioningly.
"Ah! That said, where is everyone talking about?" Roly frantically glanced down at the stack of documents on the desk. The hand fumbled through the pages as if to find out where the problem was.
"Done!" Corbin said lazily. He stopped when he realized his foolish actions. He didn't need to be so flustered, it was more normal, after all, everyone knew he had a problem.
But he didn't know what to do other than avoid it.
"Then I'll go first." Roly got up and left the room when suddenly Neil called out.
"Roly! Let's talk for a bit. I think it's time we shared our problems." Then he turned to ask the rest: "What do you think?"
Finally, after many efforts trying to ignore it, clearly not knowing anything about your unusual expression, Neil had to speak up.
No one answered, nodding in agreement. Roly stood there hesitantly for a moment. Instinct told me there was something to worry about.Download Novelah App
