I’m back at my office. Writing a lot of articles. We got heavy issues going on——there is a love triangle going on in the Celebrity world. As usual, boss wants me to write the story and spice up things.
Ah, I missed my job so much.
Being here makes me feel safe than being in my apartment. Day by day, I’m getting better and better. I tried so hard to reach this state for the last few weeks. I tried to forgive Jax about whatever reason I was angry at him. I tried to be alright every time I’m with Denise, it worked.
Although, I can’t really forget that she killed Ocean and framed Mira for it.
Oh, I totally forgot that Mira exists. The thing she asked me about helping her find out more about Denise, I forgot about that too.
There is a lot of things I’m trying to be okay with because I know it is impossible for me to forget about it.

There is a lot of things going on around me. Maybe fate is trying to punish me. For what? For being a cheater? Well, the punishment is a lot. Made me feel like I’m living in hell.
It’s been a week. The 500,000 Dollar check is inside my drawer along with 2 keys. How could I forget about Jax’ key and mom’s key? I did not tell anyone about it. It’s better if from now on, I keep
everything to myself because I don’t have any clue who to trust anymore.
“Knock knock.” Perry’s already inside my office.
“Hey, Perry. Didn’t notice you were there.”
“The doors open so…”
“Of course, feel free to come in. That’s not a problem.” Then I go back to typing. “So, what you need?”
“Oh yeah, about that, are you ready for some adventure?” I laugh at him. He made it sound so exciting, plus he juggles his car keys.
“Okay. That looks so exciting. Where are we going to for today’s adventure?” I clicked the mouse hard as I submit my last article for the day.
Whatever adventure this is, I’m totally in. I don’t really want to go home yet.
“We’re going to Mira’s house.”
Are you kidding me?
He is smiling, waiting for my response. He thinks that I’m excited to do this interview. Oh, Perry, only if I don’t have trust issues right now. I will be talking to you and Alex about what’s going on and we’ll do it over a drink. I really need one right now.
I smile. Of course, it’s forced. “That’s very exciting. I’m totally in.” Then I grab my bag. “Let’s go.”
“Is that Alex?” He’s sitting at the back of the car and he’s eating siopao.
“Yes. He said he wants to see what is going on, so I let him go with us. Also, he’s broken.” He whispers as we approach the car.
“He’s broken about what?” I whisper.
“I’ll tell you over the phone when we go home.” Then we climbed inside the car.
I think Perry’s right. Alex is not saying anything at all, he’s just eating siopao while looking outside the window. Maybe that’s the reason why Perry allowed him to eat inside the car. He doesn’t really like it when someone’s eating inside his car. He said that there will be crumbs all over and his car will smell like food.
It was a long drive because of the traffic.
No attorney greeted us when we arrived.
“Uhm, where’s the attorney?” I ask.
“Yo, I forgot to tell you I’m very sorry.”
Alex is walking ahead of us, kicking a rock.
“What is it?”
“Boss received an e-mail from her. She said that she wants to talk to us privately. I don’t know what the reason is.” He shrugs his shoulder then walks to level Alex.
What are you up to now, Mira? Every time I try to stay away from trouble, trouble happens.
Honestly, what on Earth should I be doing to have a quiet life?
A girl opens the door. She’s Mira’s personal assistant. “She’s in the living room.”
We followed her. Mira’s sitting comfortably while having tea. I’m not mad at all, she deserves this kind of treatment as a prisoner. She’s innocent.
Faster than light I looked away when she smiled at me. Perry’s a little shock when Mira gave us all a hug like we knew each other for decades.
She exhales. “It’s nice seeing new faces. Finally! Come on, come on. Have a seat please.” She’s assisting us very well. Exaggerated.
Why is she like this? Happy? Maybe she have something spicy to tell us? Perhaps to prove that she is innocent? I hope, so I don’t have to be the one to find out and prove.
Perry and Alex is looking at me, they are so confused. I shrugged my shoulder. I don’t know the reason she’s like this either.
“Honey, please get them the sweets we baked earlier.” Honey left for the kitchen. “I’m exploring a new hobby now. You guessed it!” Alex backed up when Mira pointed her finger on him. Poor Alex, broken and confused.
Mira laughs. “I’m baking now. It’s boring here. Next, I’ll be planting a lot of different plants.” Get to the point, Mira. “Anyways, I called you here guys for something spicy to write about.” She poured tea. “You will write about it.” She pointed at Alex.
He’s even more confused right now. It’s his first celebrity interview and Mira’s already shaking his world. But honestly, I think this will be the breakthrough of his writing career. No more writing only about surface articles.
“Me?” He scoffs. “Why me?” he pointed at me. “She’s really good with this kind of thing.”
“I don’t want to bother her anymore. She’s not interested with me at all.” She rolled her eyes on me. “She’s got enough package now. Poor you.” She gave me a pity look.
Perry pats my back, he knows I hate it when someone’s feeling pity towards me. I’m fine and I don’t need someone pitying me.
“What is it you want Alex to write about?” Perry asked. He is the dad of the group. Always doing what we’re scared to do.
“Here you go.” She gave us a folder that contains private documents. “Go on, read.”
This is too long. I’m not reading this. “We’ll read it in the office. You tell us what this is all about.” I put the folder down.
She sighs. “Fine. What every, Jess Capri. Since she’s too tired to read a 4-page paper, I’m going to tell you all what this is about.” She pats the paper. Finally, Honey arrived with the sweets. “How about I tell you that Denise has a reason to murder Ocean?” Thank God! She’s doing the expose work.
“What’s the reason?” Perry is listening closely, very carefully.
“I’m assuming you captured the photos.” She said to Perry. “That day, Ocean went to me. Saying that he feels guilty for hitting Denise.”
“Excuse me? Did you just say, ‘hitting Denise’?” Alex is taking down notes using his phone.
She nods. “That’s right. So, I tried to ask him why. He didn’t tell me why, but he said that sometimes when he’s drunk, he hits her. That day, he hit Denise and he was not drunk at all. That’s why he came to me of all people.”
What tea is this? And why am I here to hear all of this if she wants me to help her prove her innocence and expose Denise? Why is she giving me a reason to pity Denise for killing Ocean?
“Do you have evidence to prove what you’re saying?” I ask. Perry and Alex nods, agreeing with me.
“Of course.” She gave Perry her phone.
“A recording?” I ask.
“Incase tables turn, I’ve collected evidence of my co-Celebrities’ secrets so I can always expose them if I need to. Then look, I can finally use one right now.” She chuckles.
Perry plays the recording. We’re all shocked right now. This is big, so big. Alex gets to write about it.
