There is a saying that goes thus: 'The devil you know is better than the angel you just met. Kevin felt lost in words at Lydia's offer. It was quite a tricky one. One thing he could deduce was that Lydia seems to know more than just a newcomer. While she probably has a nice expression, something still seems off to Kevin. What does she even mean getting the heart of her sister for him? She is probably not a con artist, right? He truly believes if Rachael is the one meant for him, then it would be. He will rather be like the Shulamite woman who was quite cautious with her feelings for the shepherd boy. "Love is a treasure that we all seem to find because being with the person you always love is the greatest place. You know that right? Do you even like her?" Kevin only looked on, as Lydia spoke. Since she is Rachael's step-sister, maybe it would not be bad to reveal some things to her. "You see, each one of us has principles, but forcing feelings on someone is something I will not do. I respect her, and the fact that she still sees me as her best friend makes me glad," Kevin sounded more confident.
Lydia could not help but feel displeased. It seems Kevin truly likes her sister, or rather her stepsister. Plan A failed, but she is not giving up anytime soon. Paying a little bit of a visit to her sister is not a bad thing right? "I understand. I hope we will continue to be friends with you. Guys like you are rare," Lydia complimented as he smiled warmly at her. "Erm, it has been great talking to you. I will like to free you for a while. We will continue with our tour tomorrow," Lydia said. Kevin simply smiled, as he left her, going into the library to get some books. He tried calling Rachael's number but decided against it, not wanting to spill the beans about her stepsister. Kevin kept wondering how Rachael's reaction would be if she finally sees her stepsister. Will she feel angry, jealous, happy, ecstatic, or down? These thoughts kept playing around his mind. Lydia on the other hand simply packed her hair to her right side, as it fell off her shoulder. She looked at her phone as a smile crept to her lips. Placing a black hat on her head, she made her way towards the restroom at the down part of the school. That part of restrooms is not used during the daytime of the school as most prefer to use the one in the second and third part of the school. Apart from being bigger, cleaner, and comfortable to use, it can serve the two natural call of human urination and defecation. She opened the door as she entered, shocking the two teenagers who were making out. "Making out? Gross?" Lydia smirked as the two let go of each other. It was Zack and Maya. Zack looked stunned for a while as he stared at the person in front of them. She could not help but wonder why she looked like Rachael. "You? Rachael? No, you are not Rachael. Just a doppelganger," Maya moved closer to her, just to be sure.
Zack just walked out as if nothing happened. He was tense for a while there. Ever since he developed feelings for Rachael who rejected him without hesitation, he had not been himself. And just to get over the image of her on his head, he just keeps jumping from one lady to another, except Maya who he stuck to since their parents already sealed their marriage in the future. One can simply see sexual immorality in full display. Feelings, not properly controlled will only give rise to one making more mistakes, and sins. At the restroom, Lydia was finally glad to meet Maya in person. Maya, was rather angry when someone interrupted their sham of almost consummating. "So nice to meet you. I am Lydia, Rachael's sister, and your worst nightmare," Lydia extended her hand forward, as Maya glared at her. "Oh, such an angry bird. I heard how you always confront my step-sister and her best friend. I hope that will end today, especially since you have started concocting a new plan," "And how is it any of your problem newbie? Are you going to tell your sister?" Maya asked It was true she and her other friends are planning to make Rachael and Joy fall into a scandal. She just hates the two of them, most especially the fact that Rachael has so much attention. It was annoying, and the fact that they saved Emma was something she will never forget. "I will advise you to stop it. Who knows if I might still show you some mercy," A sly smile made its way to her lips as Maya sneered. "You are quite bold, you little ant. Do you even know who I am," Maya laughed evilly. Lydia took three steps backward. She snapped her hands in the air three times and said: "It is the sheer boldness and pride for me. In the next one week, people will get to know the real Maya. That is when we will be able to differentiate between an ant and an elephant. All the best dear Maya. Get ready for the shock of your life," Maya's countenance changed instantly, fear glued to her body as she felt goosebumps. She was motionless, as she stared at Lydia who let out a devious smile before stepping out of the restroom. Lydia smiled heartily "Plan one failed, plan 2 succeeded," She whispered, as she clicked her tongue ready to move forward with her plans. No one knows the true picture of Lydia. But it does not seem to be too good on her part. It can be concluded that Maya just disrupted the beehive. She should sure be ready to be stung. Till then, Lydia was determined to make more friends, as well as enemies. ......... Rachael got out of the class since all 12 graders have a free period. She walked down the hallway, few students passing through her kept stealing glances at her. She felt weird somehow, wondering why the students were staring and smiling at her. She suddenly felt someone tap her shoulder, making her shocked, before turning to face the person. "Hi. Sorry to startle you. I am Miguel, 11th grader," the tall young man spoke as Rachael nodded. "Umm, no worries. I am Rachael. First time seeing you. Do you perhaps need anything from me?"Rachael questioned, making the young guy scratch his head slightly. " I...I need your help. I believe you created the counseling center for teens," "Yes, sure. Let us go to a better place," Noticing the shyness on the part of the young man, she decided to choose a quiet place that was free from disturbances. She closed the door of the empty class after the young guy entered. "Would you like to sit?" Rachael. "No. I just want to talk. It would have been proper if I talked to the same-sex about it, but somehow my inner mind wanted me to inform you," Rachael smiled warmly at him. "I have a problem. I know you might blame me or probably think I am stupid, but just hear me out," he paused closing his eyes "No one has the right to judge anyone by their confession. We are not equal. Just say your mind out, if that will help," Rachael said, as Miguel breathed in gently. "I am trapped in my world of desires. I masturbate and controlling it has been a pain in the butt. I feel useless whenever the deed has been done. I know sexual feelings are not evil themselves, but I just feel these sexual urges are more than I can control," he bowed his head in shame as a tear slipped down his face.
Rachael held his hand as he made him sit. "I appreciate you taking your time to trust and speak out about what is bothering you. It is a great step and I must commend you," Rachael smiled warmly as Miguel raised his head, a little bit speechless. "Masturbation is a common problem, but you do not have to give up. I can assure you that you can win this fight against this," Rachael assured as he simply nodded. "Thank you. I am happy I developed the courage to inform you today. I hope you can help me. I would have loved to continue our discussion but... I hope you can make time later on. I need more time to pour out my mind," Miguel spoke, afraid Rachael might see him as being unserious. "I don't mind. You can decide any day you will be comfortable with. I hope you won't mind if a male is with me that day," "Thanks for understanding. Sure, you can come with a male friend. I appreciate it," Miguel commented "Do remember that you can get over it", Miguel gave a small smile as he left. Rachael sat on the chair for a while before finally deciding to leave. She opened the door but was surprised by the sight in front of her. " Hello sister," A frown crept to Rachael's face instantly.
