And so the meeting came to a conclusion, with Leo's sudden arrival, Ethan being the leader of the school was denied. And regarding the topic of the upcoming war, has been moved again, for now they need to find a leader. And that man was set to be someone Leo proposed just now. They all left one by one and Chris was the first to do so, afraid that Leo might find trouble for him. Knowing that he just bad-mouthed both Leo and Nyx.
Jarred and Vin were kind of unconvinced by the sudden appearance of Leo, and knowing that he is the first executive. Drake still remained silent after all of what happened and remained mutual of the fact. Ethan on the other hand was sure that Leo was really the first executive, as he kind of remembered someone of that name himself. And guess that it might be him, and was also the reason why the other 4 schools didn't just attack them carelessly. Even though their school only consisted of executives and had no leader for a long time.
And before Leo came into the meeting held in the campus by Ethan and others. Leo in fact went alone into one of four schools that are planning to attack them. It was the Riverdale, Leo went there alone without hesitation and a sense of danger, as he himself was confident that he could come out there alive. Leo met up with the leader of Riverdale which is Blade, before he did so. He went inside the campus by using force, basically beating up everybody and anybody that blocked his path. Until he came into the room where the leader Blade was, accompanied by his 5 executives.
The first ranked being Rexx, Xander, Jason, Liam, and Nico respectively. They are more or less on par or above Ethan and others in terms of fighting capabilities, which is Leo's school. But that didn't faze Leo, he was not even a bit afraid in their presence and even showed a calm nature that seems like he didn't even put them in his eyes. And so he sat there uninvited and proposed a deal to Blade, Leo said to give them time for their school to find an appropriate leader. And they should not attack if he failed to do so, he also said that if they do violate his warning the consequences would be unimaginable. The threat Leo said got on the nerves of the 5 executives in Riverdale.
They all immediately prepared to fight him right here right now, but Blade raised his hand and stopped them. Blade agreed to Leo's request without hesitation, and also proposed a condition for himself. Blade proposed that after they find a leader, Leo will not be included or will not participate in the war between his school and Riverdale. Leo upon hearing the condition was smiling, and said that he was planning on doing that from the very beginning. And so Leo left without saying anything, after the proposed conditions were met. The other members of the gang in Riverdale who arrived late at the scene, saw a numerous body laying on the ground. And Leo walking in to them, they couldn't help but move involuntarily upon seeing the bloodbath within their eyes. They all lined up, and cleared the way for Leo not daring to block his path.
At the room where Blade, and the five executives are, was shocked upon seeing their leader agreeing to only one person's request. And so Rex asked Blade on why he did so.
“Why did you agree to that man's request? We can probably take that chance and end him right here, To further weaken their forces.” Rex asked curiously.
Blade: “I have my reasons, besides even if by chance we managed to stop that man. The forces behind him, I'm afraid we couldn't possibly deal with it.”
“What is so special about that man, why are you so wary of him?”
“It will only weaken our gang's morale if I expose the secret of that man, for now we need to have the mindset of being the winner, even if the war does not yet start.” Said Blade.
“Is that so, I know you have your reasons. You are not called “The Fox” for nothing after all.” Rex replied while grinning.
Rex understood, and also the four executives in the room, that there is something they are unaware of about that man. Even so they also fully trust the leadership of Blade, as he was known for being cunning apart from his ability to fight. He is dubbed as “The Fox” within the school and his middle school years after all. His cunningness coupled with his ability to fight, he is a force to be reckoned with, to the point that even the second ranked school leader, Chase, was keeping an eye on him.
And that's what happened before Leo came into the meeting at his school, and after the discussion about the unknown proposed leader. Leo then went outside the campus and walked on the road alone, on his way home it was almost 3 at noon. He walked for about a couple of minutes then arrived at the crossroad on which Nyx will pass on his way home. He waited there for a couple of hours until he saw Nyx within the distance, wearing the face of someone who has conflicting feelings and emotions. Leo then waved out his hand at Nyx and shouted.
“Hey there, I'm here!”
Nyx immediately looked up ahead, and saw Leo waving at him, and so then he walked up to Leo.
“What are you doing here again?” Asked Nyx.
“I was just bored, so I figured that I should wait for a certain someone here, to accompany me to buy some snacks and drinks at the store.” Leo replied.
Leo then invited Nyx to accompany him at the store and treat him, Nyx having nothing to do and full of conflicting feelings, agreed to Leo's request. He figured that it would help him ease his mind about him contemplating whether to use his fist again or leave it as it is. They both went to the nearest store, bought some snacks and drinks, and found a bench beside the store and sat there. Leo could not help but notice Nyx's expression which is full of thoughts, and so he asked Nyx about it.
“Why are you thinking about, for you to look like someone in deep thoughts?” 
“Nothing in particular, I'm just contemplating whether to break my promise or keep it as it is.” Nyx replied, while still in deep thoughts.
“You mean those promises you made to someone and yourself? To not fight?” 
“Yes.” Nyx answered.
“If so, then it is quite easy to solve. I'm sure you have someone who is special and close to you that you desperately wanted to protect, right?” Nyx didn't answer Leo's response and so he continued, “I'll take that as a yes. It does not necessarily mean a bad thing to use your fist once or twice, nor is it good to not do anything at all. A fist with no purpose and no one to protect is nothing but pure malice and violence, but a fist that has a clear purpose is sometimes necessary in order to survive. I'm not saying that you should break your promise, but a promise is only meant to be kept if the person you made the promise is not harmed or endangered because of you limiting yourself for it.”
Nyx quickly realized the truth behind Leo's word, he couldn't deny that someone was indeed harmed because of it. 
“That was a really good reason, but what violence could achieve is just another violence. And it will go on and on until you find yourself at the center of all the troubles it caused.” Nyx replied.
“Then do what your heart tells you to do. Violence indeed produced nothing but violence, so why not use your fist to stop all of those from coming to you ever again.”
“I'm afraid!” Nyx answered with visible worries in her eyes.
“You're afraid that it will cause you another trouble that can lead you to prison again right?” 
Nyx was surprised that Leo knew about that fact, but then it was a pretty big deal back then, so he might have known it from someone.
“So you knew, that was what I'm afraid of. I couldn't control myself when fighting, my body won't listen to me, as long as the enemy I set my eyes on is not groveling on the ground and unconscious, I'm afraid they will end up dead.”
“But you did that to protect someone, right? Though it was not enough justification for your act, you have your purpose. You just went overboard with it, and that is a reason enough to stand up for yourself and for someone you wished to protect, don't you think so?” Leo said with a convincing tone.
Nyx was still contemplating whether to listen to Leo or do what he always did for the last few years. Nyx doubted the path he had taken, if this was really the right thing to do or not. In his mind, does he really need to watch her mother helplessly getting beaten up by someone just because of the promise he made. When that promise was meant to protect her in the first place, yet why I am unable to arrive at a definite answer. After Nyx gave it much thought, he vowed to never see his mother crying again, much less being beaten, even if it means that he will break the promises he made to himself and to her.
