"Can you please lower down your voices please? It's attracting too much attention..." His voice has no strength at all and the embarrassment for the passed days that he've been into the camp of the low. Leon had been fixing the small damages around the camp and the people were truly grateful of his conduct. Slowly, changes had been appearing to the Camp Low. Prints of Leon's touches making the camp neat and clean. The people had been flocking around him. They are curious as to where he is getting all the energy that he has been exerting since the day he offered help. Not one of them could have that endurance and stamina when they are living like every day could be their last.
 
There is nothing much of a problem in the camp actually. Leon just replace some rotting planks of the wall and he even put a precious cement that caused a small mithril for a kilo. Leon almost broke in his character on how absurd is the price of cement that the minotaur's could just mine everywhere in their territory? Besides that, he just replaced busted lights or squeaking door. There were small quarrels about who was the first one to attend the mass or call of the leader or who was the first one to get up and change the fire that had kept them warm during the cold nights but other than that, the aching joints and muscles make them a group of seniors in a nursing home. Leon was amazed for their great idea on how to survive the cold weather. The solution they had managed to come up and became a staple need to their olden bodies was keeping a rotation schedule for the person to guard and keep the fire burning all day. Seeing a pair of old men waving at him, Leon just raise his hand.
 
He turned around when he heard a familiar voice. Rosario is talking with her people, inquiring them of what they needed since a group is ready to go to the next continent to get their supply. Leon is too focus on listening that he failed to noticed the small carving below their feet and the container and the mechanism that is buried under which is connected to each houses erected around. That is their style of heater that is quite outdated but as someone as poor as them, it would suffice so that the cold won't make them suffer every night. It's ancient knowledge that they got from the land of the rising sun.
 
Seeing the lively elders, Leon just shake his head and finish his rounds of repair. As usual since the first day, Mint has been yapping about not to trust these people which usually Leon ignores. Until she talks about why she hate them so much, Leon will let her whine like a child.
 
"You are so diligent that my eyes wanted to cry a river in rejoice!" Rosario appeared at Leon's back and was about to anchor her arms towards his but he avoided her and almost hit the ground if Leon didn't catch her clothes pulling her up so she wouldn't kiss the ground.
 
"I told you many times not to follow me around Rosario." Leon sighed and complained. Rosario pouted like a little kid which would be pretty cute if they were in their young appearances but unfortunately her appearance is not that good to see with that expression so Leon just diverted his gaze away while putting her down the ground when it wasn't that high anymore and will give her injuries. Rosario dusted her clothes and then get up on herself. Leon decided to walk to the food area to see if they are doing well. The aroma of the soy sauce being brought to boil with a little trace of vinegar invited Leon even more. There is nothing grand of a building in their camp. It might be made of woods and vines that they happened to get from the forest but the sturdiness passes the eyes of Leon. Someone saw him and happily invite him over.
 
"Oh my sir! I didn't know that my cooking will bring you here! Would you like to have a taste of it?" Clara scoop some of the soup and brings it towards Leon that is looking forward to the taste. They had been trying to copy Leon's cooking but many days had passed and they don't still get the same taste. Soon it had become a competition as a form of entertainment.
 
Leon nodded and Clara chuckled before she throw her fist in the air. She looks like a kid who got recognized by her master and Leon is satisfied from her achievements. Rosario arrived a little later and notices the ladle that Clara is holding. 
 
"How...why..." She mindlessly mutters after tasting Clara's cooking. They made this wide kitchen for large quantity of cooking and also it has been their cooking school since they have the taste of the lost recipes that Leon cooked for them. 
 
"HAHAHA! No one can look down on me now! I got recognized by the esteemed sir! My cooking is superior than all of you! You cannot look down on me now Chief! HEHEHE!" It was kind of a joke but Rosario took it by the heart and walked out of the kitchen. Leon and the children of Clara all shook their heads in unison since it has been a few days since the feud had been formed between them because Rosario couldn't improve her cooking. 
 
"Aren't that a bit too much of a tease to her?" Leon said but instead of feeling guilty, Clara chuckled and said. 
 
"Small things like that won't hurt that woman. Don't worry! That's how she'll get stronger!" Leon shook his head again and saw Sisa looking at him. He was about to ignore her but she went closer and asked Leon to get down a little bit since her hunched back couldn't reach his ears. 
 
"Mother is Rosario's teacher before that's why Rosario is being obedient towards Mom." Leon remained silent and Sisa continued her story. 
 
"Before the revolution, Rosario is a coward and always wanted to hide when the forces attacks us. But mother said it was not a material of a leader to retreat whenever harm threaten him or her people. It had been a long time since we saw that side of Rosario and we thank you for that opportunity sir." Sisa bowed her head towards Leon and the other doesn't know if he'll be happy with it or not. He just waved his hand instead and gestured them to cook quickly as he is already starving. Everyone went to their station and busy themselves.
 
"Sir, can you not leave us?" Maria said while pulling the clothes of Leon and shyly looking down. Leon smiled and gently removed her hand away from his clothes. 
 
"I cannot do that. There is someone that needed me back as soon as possible. I already stalled so much time in here." Because he filtered Mint so much, Leon naturally doesn't hear the ramblings of the AI and went on to eat happily with the people that managed to have a special space in his heart.

"Leon, why are you having second thoughts now that you have told them you will not stay with them?" Mint chimed after Leon went to the bed they made for him inside Rosario's home. He is about to get ready to have a rest but sat down and looked at the watch.
 
"How did you find that out? Are you spying on me?" By asking the question Mint couldn't help but snorted towards Leon and his stupidity. 
 
"Normally I wouldn't endulged myself by talking to someone as stupid as you but since we are tasked by Eucrid then I have no choice but to answer your stupid question. I can check your blood pressure, heartbeat and heart rate inside of here. You cannot hide anything to me or such keeping secrets. Now answer me stupid, are you really willing to stay in exchange of that small thought of helping them and them welcoming you instead of going back to Eucrid and be comfortable with all that luxuries?" Leon didn't think much and went back to the bed and closes his eyes. It is not that he is having thoughts or he wanted to stay. It is just that having these kinds of lifestyle aren't so bad and ...
 
 
BANG! BANG! BANG!
 
"What was that?!" Leon got up from his bed and went out of the house through the window. A little quake makes the ground tilt to the other side and that made Leon to support himself by leaning to the wall. His eyes hurt when a very bright light hit his sight and he got blinded for a moment. Explosions and the smell of blood entered his nostrils and yet the sound of heartbeats around him aren't decreasing.
 
"Dammit! What happened?!" Leon shouted but no one is able to respond onto his screams. He felt frustrated but he tried to calm himself. His energy could be dangerous for the human in Earthex just like it's like a poison to the monsters inside the gate. But there is one individual that is close enough to give him answers. He made sure to let her know how angry he is right now.
 
"Don't try to do anything stupid you idiotic human! Just let them do their work! It will stop eventually!" Mint shouted back but the shake in her voice is not completely fooled him but no. That just made Leon wanted to save the citizen more. They are the people that being looked down by the others because they doesn't have the privilege of the higher ranks. They had been stripped of luxury, possession and even rights that could be given to humans. They all accepted such fate and are living peacefully in this land so why are the others wanted to erase them so much?! 
 
Why the need of bloodshed when they are just striving to be living each passes day?
 
Leon's blood were boiling in anger. Mint could see that too. But she couldn't detect the change in Leon's air. The system that had been working since earlier, unlock the restrain it put so to be undetected by the unknown rival. It answers to Leon's wishes and that even if it risk their safety, it will not let his expectation down.

The continuous bombing and the cries of the people made Leon chose the path that he will now going to take and with that Mint finally noticed what Leon have done. 
 
"What did you do?!" Leon didn't answer but he felt a spark that is stopping his skill. Windows popped continuously in the air but the system vigorously eliminate them.
 
"I won't let you do what you want!!" Mint screamed and the sparks started to get larger and larger until Leon gritted his teeth and smokes beginning to appear from his body.
