Euca chuckled before she skid back a couple of steps from them. Leon put Aiko away and Crow went to pick her up and stand by incase that Leon needed his help.  
Before jumping right in the middle of the two girls, Leon had already strengthen himself with a few skills. At the moment, he could only use five skills but that would go down to four since he has to maintain Aiko's appearance hidden. He uses >enhance< and >acceleration< that's why Euca find it weird when she felt Leon so powerful all of a sudden but she didn't know, this is not even half of his power.  
"Why you look so serious sir strongest? I just want to have a heart to heart talk with that alluring lady. Bet you are jealous her attention is being given to me instead rather than in you? Are you so lonely that you needed company? I could offer myself if you'd like, but I guess it will take us just not one night to know each other don't we?" Her movements suddenly change and charges forward to Leon. Her hands going into his back and threw needles with liquid glaze on it.  
This is the same ones at that forest!   
Leon conjures mini barriers just enough to deflect the needles before pulling out the lightsaber in his storage. It blazed red before yellow and blue then finally a glintless black. Euca reached his location and slam her blades to his sword.  
"I never new the strongest is this childish. To think turning a plaything into a weapon is quite cute!" She tried to push Leon back but she is not strong enough to get him far which causes for their swords to meet once again.
Clang! 
The force made the dust scattered and from the sound of their swords both side came to a conclusion. 
Leon's least want. 
"ATTACK!" 
"AAAAAHHHHHHH!" 
The tanks begin to bombard Leon's side but thankfully Geoff is there to put a barrier that can save the civilians while Audyll and Aiko went to battle with Limuel and Ben, pulling their weapons slashing their enemies to immobility. 
Rains of explosion flown down on Leon's side which had made him anxious of who will rescue them. Seeing this, Euca took the opportunity and went for a sideslash before she throw some needles on the opposite direction to where Leon possibly dodges away. 
"Ugh!" He knelt down for a second after being hit by a needle. The poison in it was potent enough to make him weak but after noticing that Euca is getting faster on attacking on him, he leap to one side before making his lightsaber long which reaches Euca's blade. 
"I think pride is out of the picture for you no? To think of using this underhanded attack, how shameless of you." Euca just smiled at Leon that currently buying some time to recuperate. There is a reason that he left two skills to use so that he could patch up if there is a situation like this. The >auto recovery< started and the poison is slowly being remove.
Euca doesn't want to make it easy for Leon and once again rush to where he is which is a second late since he already jump up and slashes the saber on her neck, aiming to cut it neatly but Euca smoothly turn her face to the direction the sword is going. It lessens the damage to her and only burn half of her face and her hair. Seeing this Leon tried his hardest not to laugh. She melt like burnt pork barbecue that his sister done in the past. Euca seeing it gritted her teeth and push herself again forward to attack. 
"No don't come to me! Ahhh! Help!" Leon heard scream not far from them and when he look at that direction, no one is noticing the woman that had been crawling backwards while her frightened sight is focused towards the suit up with armor and a hand gun. The others were too busy to notice her and seeing that Euca is about to crash towards him again, he summoned enough energy to make her push away a certain distance before he rushes towards the woman and shielded himself for her.  
"Ugh!" Leon winced from the pain on his scorched back from shielding the shot from the gun. It was like the lightsabers heat but condense enough to make the pain effects much later like what Leon is feeling right now.  
The woman opened her eyes to check if she survived and was actually surprise to see the pained expression he has. 
"Oh no sir---" 
"GO!" Leon unintentionally yell before he faces the man and killed him with a slash before he could shoot him once again. The woman got startled and without second thought, went away like she isn't there before.  
Leon was about to take a breath when Euca went from his side and push the blade in his face.  
"Do you think you can continue this act of benevolence and knight in shining armor to rescue them? You can't save everyone. You have already failed one." Euca slit her throat and blood gushes out of it like it was real. Leon was confuse for the reason to make all that fuss but it wasn't that long before screams after screams erupted around him.  
He saw the explosives that being shot to them by the enemies were now reaching the people. Leon immediately look at Geoff which is already in front of him and hit him in the face with a kick.  
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" But before he could recover, Geoff is already raining him with attacks which he shielded with his arms. 
"Geoff you bastard! When I get out of here I'll beat you till you say sorry!" Leon bared his fangs to Geoff but there is no reaction coming from him. When Leon saw an opening, he kick Geoff in the pit of his stomach and slide backward before going up to his feet.  
"Fuck! Hold it you brute!" Leon uses the skill >drought< since pixie devils are still a being of nature and their greatest weakness would be anything that can affect their natural ability of being fond with nature. Geoff went a little docile but he is still aggressive. He look around to see that many people fell injured and some have their bodies in pieces.  
There is no other choice but to resort to that is what Leon think but he didn't think ahead that he could be rejected.  
[Amaris, do you have any idea why Geoff is like this?] While still holding Geoff with his skill, Leon is getting impatient since the skill can only restrain his overflowing power which is too much for him to restrain if he is not using the needle.  
It took longer before he got an answer.  
[Father... I don't know what happen... Hik! He....hik! He said his farewell!] 
Leon failed to maintain the magic for the skill that is keeping Geoff in place and he return to Leon bombarding him once again by rain of attacks but right now its different. Together with physical attacks are magics that only creature from the gate possesses. It's different from the skill that the Elites were using. The skill is like a rented ability that can only be use with a medium or a helper that can do most of the work and not by one's own self. But different to that, magic is something that the monster and every intelligible creatures inside the gate possesses from the day they are born and it only can be strengthen if they try to be stronger.  
And in Leon's current case the amount of power that Geoff has in his magic is tremendous enough to make him summon the needle that had suck up most of the impact from his attack. There is no time to waste and Leon explained to Amaris what she should do since if he let things be, there is no people to save anymore since they are all already unable to have normal lives. 
[Amaris are you there?] 
But it took her a long time before replying even so Leon has no other choice.  
[Amaris calm down and listen to me. I am sorry that you already have your hands full from taking care of your children but the people, they needed us. Please save them. I'll make sure to save Geoff---] 
[Kill him.] 
Leon went shock upon hearing her words. There is no hint of affection in it and are just as strongly as the action goes, it was straight like a bullet.  
There's no feelings in it.  
Leon sighed and abide to his daughter's wish before he poured her knowledge how to use her power to protect and not to kill. 
[Please papa, in a less painful way...] 
[I'll try.] 
[That's more than enough.] 
Leon smiled after knowing that she is not devoided of life like he thought she would and went to face Geoff that currently glaring at him hard. 
"How come you become a puppet of that side that easily? You are my brother and with that said you are not less than powerful than me. Why Geoff? Come to your senses!" But as it hopeless as it could be, Geoff remained hostile from while the system notifying him of good news.  
『Tremendous power is filling the gauge needed for the System N-000 to be fix. Steady supply is needed for the mean time... please wait...』
『Warning! An unknown program wanted to invade the system! Activating the defense firewall and antivirus...』
System! Don't tell me this was like last time! I will really despise you with all my heart!  
The side of his mouth is twitching while blocking all the attacks with imbued magic that can melt the bones and make all your body gooey with just a touch. The system rang again and Leon prayed that it would be good news. 
『Due to the help of the steady stream of magic, the invasion has successfully defeated! Congratulations!』 
Congratulations my ass! If you didn't succeed I'll just kill myself! 
『...』 
What? I am not shameless at all! You are! 
It was then that Leon notices a slight life in Geoff's eyes which had stopped him on his ongoing banter with the system. 
"Geoff man! Hey! If you are there answer!" Leon threw a punch to his face and he didn't stop to that. He continued to exert force to his punches and totally exhausted what the skill >enhance< could give him. 
"S...t..." Geoff was trying to say something but Leon couldn't get it.
"What are you trying to say? Speak up! Come on!" But instead of waiting for him to speak, he is still raining him punches which is making him look pitifully beaten. 
"HAHAHA!" Laughter that rang in the air makes Leon stop and look up before finding nothing. He was about to continue and make Geoff awaken but once again the voice stop him. 
"Look at the puppet, it's already beaten up this much~" 
"I thought you said that he could stand a chance with him, are you lying to me?" 
"Can you all show some decency? We are already connected to them!" 
"Hmp!" 
"Whatever." 
Leon was speechless from the childish voices and their behavior as if they were petty teenagers and young adults. But there is one thing that Leon wanted to clear. He could bully now Geoff because the needle had upgraded together with his system. If it didn't then he has to exert all the muscle that he doesn't want to move into action. 
"It seems like you are having fun playing with the puppet Leon. Is it fun?" His words were full of mockery and disdain. Leon couldn't help but raise a brow. 
"Who are you? I don't even know you." 
The voice laugh and in disbelief as that. 
"How cold of you don't you think? Well this is just the beginning Leon Thournefield. We will make sure to erase you on this Earth and to the next as well!" Leon couldn't understand what he said but he didn't know, the answer will be given by his dear friend.
