At that moment, Ten froze and didn't know what to do. He was shocked of Jae-seong's sudden action but felt butterflies in his stomach. He had this indescribable feeling engulfing him. And just about that, Jae-seong pulled apart from the kiss and smiled at Ten's reaction. "I'll wait for you downstairs", Jae-seong whispered while patting Ten's cheek. As soon as she left the room Ten immediately held his cheek then held his lips.
"What was that", he whispered to himself. "Aish! Get yourself together", he muttered as he messed up his hair out of frustration. "She just caught me off guard, that's it", Ten continued now looking like a fool, but a happy one. "Fate really twisted on me. She got me good", Ten said fixing his hair while smiling. He then ran out the door with the same smile on his face.
Ten stayed the night and slept beside Jae-seong. "Jae", Ten whispered waking up Jae-seong. Jae-seong just hummed with an irritated face. "I have to go home", Ten said still hugging Jae-seong. "Why so early", Jae-seong asked with eyes still closed. "Uhm I still have to bath and prepare for class", Ten answered quite unsure as to why Jae-seong still has to ask. "Alright alright. I'll sleep a little more", Jae-seong said covering her face with a pillow. 
"Won't you at least walk me out or say good bye? Not even a good bye kiss", Ten asked trying to remove the pillow on her face. "No. Now go", Jae-seong said rolling towards the other end of the bed. "Oh come on babe", Ten called following Jae-seong. "Shut up", Jae-seong said covering herself in her blanket. "Aww don't you love me anymore", Ten asked with a cute tiny voice. "Eww stop that", Jae-seong said pushing Ten away.
"Hmph I need my baby's attention but she keeps on ignoring me", Ten whined with a child-like voice while crossing his arms and bouncing up and down the bed. "Fine fine here what do you want", Jae-seong said sitting up and holding unto Ten's arm telling him to stop. "Some love", Ten said with the same voice while pouting. 
Jae-seong tilted her head and smirked. She then leaned closer to Ten which made Ten's heart beat twice its original speed. "Better luck next time, kid", Jae-seong whispered when her face was only centimetres away from Ten's with eyes leveled with each his and staring straight into his soul. Ten took a while to process what had happened. Jae-seong then smiled seeing Ten's reaction and backed away.
"Is this how you'll always react? Kinda don't want to be in a real relationship with you if this will be our everyday scenario", Jae-seong teased while staring down at Ten with her smile still evident. Ten then lost the reaction on his face and was replaced with a blank expression. He stared at Jae-seong blankly making her transform as well. They continued to stare at each other as silence filled the room. 
"You hear that", Ten whispered breaking the silence between them. Jae-seong just hummed in response still unsure of where he's going with it. "Hear what", she now asked seeing that there is still no response from Ten. "It is the sound of the incoming attack of the tickle monster", Ten exclaimed as he attacked Jae-seong with tickles. "H-Hey! S-Stop", Jae-seong exclaimed while laughing. Jae-seong ended up lying on his back as Ten continued to tickle her. Ten slowly stopped while Jae-seong tried to catch her breath with eyes closed. As she opened her eyes she was greeted with Ten staring right at her.
Her smile slowly faded as the stare continued. "I have a question", Ten said now with a serious face. "What is it", Jae-seong asked. "What are we really Jae? Are you still pretending? Is this still part of the act", Ten asked making Jae-seong uncomfortable. She tried to look anywhere but Ten and avoiding his gaze at all cost. "Answer me please, because I know fully that I’m not pretending anymore", Ten pleaded cupping her face with his hands and facing it to his. 
"Oh would you look at the time. Well looks like you better get going if you don't want to be late", Jae-seong immediately came up with an excuse as she pushed Ten. She then got up and dragged Ten to the door. Ten sighed and just smiled at her. "I'll see you later then", Ten said before leaving her room. 
Jae-seong closed the door immediately and leaned on the door. Moments after, her back slid down as she sat on the floor. Tears started escaping her eyes as she held unto her chest. "Why does it have to be like this? Does it really have to be this complicated? I’m so sorry Ten", she then muttered as she started sobbing.
