Flying Blizzard

Azalea's POV,
The first half come to an end with the score of 24/22. We could barely win.
"I was about to forgot to take video but fortunately I took some," my teammate said, handing me my phone which I accept and I thank her.
As soon as I got my phone I went to Maica and sat beside her while Krystal remain standing in front of us.
"I forgot that you were not playing earlier," I mumbled, opening the battled water.
"Glad you forgot 'cause I don't want to take a video." Maica rolled her eyes, making me laugh.
"I'll send it to Leonel now," I muttered, sending the pictures and video to him through Acebook messenger app. Last week, I saw Rico's friend request on my notifications while busy talking with Zackarius. I accepted it of course and went back on talking with my man.
Speaking of Rico, where is he now? I looked around the place, searching for that Señorito.
"If you're looking for Señorito Rico, he already went to the basketball court with his friend," Maica answered, tapping on her phone.
"You mean Anthony?" I asked, putting my phone into my bag.
"I don't know who's that guy, but he went here to fetch Rico." She shrugged, darting a glance on me.
"I want to watch their game, but we still have another half to play," I blurted, drinking my water.
"Basketball has four quarters, therefore you can watch them later after our game," Krystal uttered, wiping her sweats using the towel.
"You can also tell Coach Apollo that you don't want to play anymore hahahaha!" Maica suggested as she laughed hysterically. Krystal laughed as well too. I let out a chuckle, slapping her left arm.
"I don't want to ditch my game." I rolled my eyes.
"That Señorito really changed huh. Your words really affect him but I couldn't stop myself to be skeptical to him sometimes," Krystal uttered seriously.
"I can't blame you since he really did something bad to me in the past. But at least give him a chance," I suggested, curving a hopeful smile.
"If you really want me to trust him, then he shouldn't repeat what he has done to you or else," she reminded, tightening her grip around the water bottle.
"You should have mercy to that innocent bottle!" Maica shouted, pointing at the empty bottle that Krystal crumpled.
"Why would I? This thing doesn't breathe at all," she scoffed, glancing at the bottle as she throws it to Maica. "Throw it into the trash can behind you."
Maica fumbled with the empty bottle. It took few seconds before she can fully throw it into the can.
"Still clumsy as ever," I commented, laughing hysterically.
"Clumsiness is really part of her Azalea, what do you expect," Krystal added, smiling halfways.
"You two really teamed up against me no?" she huffed crossing her arm.
"There, there, don't get sulky now hahaha!" I rub her back, preventing myself not to laugh as I glanced at Krystal who's also holding her laughter.
"Okay everyone who will play in second half please come forward," Coach Apollo announced nonchalantly, making the three of us look at him.
Maica and I stood up from the bench as the three of us headed to Coach Apollo the same with our captain ball Jane, the one who took us video and another person I don't know.
"We could barely win earlier at first half since their two spikers are really strong especially number 24," Coach Apollo began, placing his fingers under his chin. "Therefore, in order to defeat them I came up with another plan." Coach Apollo whispered the plan to us and we all agreed in unison.
After few minutes, the commentator called the both teams as we proceed to the center court.
"Azalea, Jamie is hard to defeat. It sounds easy earlier from coach, however—"
"Just believe in me Jane! I swear I'll defeat her," I assured her and was about to tap her shoulder but she caught it in midair.
"I want to believe that but I know my sister more," she whispered, darting a glance at the other side of net, specifically to number 24.
"What?!" My eyes widened in shock upon hearing what she just said. Really the two of them are sisters? Why I didn't figure it out earlier?
"Yes we're sisters. Therefore, instead of receiving her spikes just like what Coach said, you must gave her your spike.....my sister is weak when it comes to receiving the ball." She drops my hand. "As you can see earlier, she didn't receive a single ball and only her teammates are the ones receiving it for her."
"I understand," I replied with full determination.
She glanced at me, letting out a chuckle. "However, don't overdo it or else you might drain yourself."
"Of course I know that, thank you for telling me that information," I said as we tapped each other shoulders.
Third Person's POV,
The second half finally began. Both teams are both enthusiastic to win and giving their best to the game. The commentator is so energetic while announcing what happened in every minute to the game. The audience too are enjoying the game.
Señorita Azalea did what Jane told her, she gave Jamie a lot of hard spikes. Jamie on the contrary didn't have a chance but to avoid it and let her teammates receive it for her.
"It's true huh," Azalea whispered, wiping her sweats using the back of her right hand.
"What are you whispering about? Focus," Krystal ordered her seriously, darting a glance at her.
Azalea pouted, stretching her arms, eyeing to her opponent at the other side.
The second half ended with the score of 24/23. ABM strand barely won again. The crowd started to shouts, cheering for ABM team.
"We did it!" Maica shouted, hugging Azalea and Krystal.
"I'm glad we won," Azalea whispered, curving an exhausted smile.
Krystal remained silent, looking at her friends happily before they proceed to Coach Apollo who's waiting happily for them to return to the bench.
Azalea's eyes accidentally landed on Jane, the latter is currently talking with her sister Jamie.
"Thank you for all your hard work!" Coach Apollo started, pretending to wipe his tears. All volleyball players started to laugh because of him as Jane arrived with them. "So now you can now go stroll around the school, our next play is 1:00pm."
All of them bob their heads in unison, hands on beside them. "Thank coach!"
"Thank you too."
Azalea's POV,
The three of us went to the basketball court to watch Rico's play. Before we got here, we saw the two teams earlier at the volleyball court who will fight against each other.
As soon as we took our seats, Maica spoke, "HUMSS strand and GAS strand will be the ones fighting later no?"
"Yes and both if them seemed strong," I replied, opening the snack I bought.
"Let's just look forward to our game later," Krystal muttered, looking straight at the basketball court.
Maica and I nodded. I looked at the scoreboard, seeing the two teams scores. "54, 23....what a big difference."
Maica and Krystal also take a look at the scoreboard and agreed with me.
"Not bad. Our strand is winning against GAS." Krystal nodded, swallowing the biscuit she bought.
"But where is Rico?" Maica questioned, peeking at the bench.
"That one." I pointed the man wearing a sport headband who's facing his back on us.
"Two minutes more before the third quarter start," the commentator announced.
The two teams gathered around, talking to each other before they cheered themselves. After two minutes the game finally resumed.
"Let's see if he's really good at basketball," Maica muttered, looking straight at the court.
Krystal and I darted a glance at her and remain silent. The referee throw the ball in midair and Rico's teammate got it.
"Nice one!"
"Time to attack!"
The guy who got the ball, sprinted towards the opponents ring, ready to aim for attack. However, one player from the opposite team suddenly ran beside him and stole the ball from him.
"What?!" I yelled, slamming the chair beside me.
"That's awful!" Maica shouted.
They better steal the ball back or else the opponent will get a score!
Rico was about to follow his opponents but Anthony signalled him to stay near at the court. What are they scheming?
The opponent throw the ball towards the ring, aiming for another score. Fortunately, one of Rico's teammate blocked it. The ball flew in the midair for almost three seconds until Anthony catched it.
"Yes!" Maica and I screamed in unison, slamming our hands to each other. Krystal on the other hand just glanced at us, chuckling.
All Rico's fan girls started to cheer too and they even shouting I love you's. Like for real? I couldn't imagine there's still some girls who kept shouting embarrassing words towards the person they don't even know they are existing.
Anthony immediately ran towards the opposite ring, throwing the ball in the midair.
"What is that? Anthony suddenly throw the ball!" the commentator shouted vehemently on the microphone.
"Rico!" Anthony shouted as Rico catched the ball. He immediately ran towards the ring without worrying about his opponents, since they are still running towards him.
In a few moments, Rico jumped from the three-point line, slamming the ball into the ring.
"Eh?" I blurted, still shock upon what I've just witnessed. He can jump as high as that? Is he even a student? This is the first time I've seen a student jump like that. Mostly, I just saw that in TV whenever my dad is watching basketball tournament.
"Wow," Maica whispered, amazingly.
"I didn't anticipate that huh." Krystal nodded.
As soon as Rico's feet landed on the ground, the crowd started to scream again. Unstoppable cheering can be hear around.
"And that it! Our Flying Blizzard scored another point again!" the commentator announced, clapping his hands.

Rico walked towards his teammates as Anthony ruffles his hair. All of them look so happy. Rico ran towards his position, when suddenly his eyes met mine.
Mechanically, I flashed a smile, raising my thumb to show my support. He smiled too as he waves his hand at me. Some girls who're near at our seat, began to scream.
"Did you see that?"
"Did he just waved at me?!"
"No, he didn't waved at you. He waved at me!'
"Oh come on girls he didn't wave in any of you! Because he waved at me!"
"Stop dreaming you b*tch as if he would wave at you hahahaha!"
"What a b*tch!"
"Those b*tch*s are really annoying," Maica grumbled, glancing at the girls around us.
"Just ignore them," I whispered, laughing awkwardly.
"Aza is right, let's just ignore them." Krystal shrugged.
The game resumes and the ball is in the opponent team. They tried to score but Rico's teammate stole the ball from them. Because of that, the crow became more louder as they cheer to Rico's team.
They got another score again by shooting in three-point line. We clapped our hands as the ball hit the ground. Anthony was the one who got that score.
The third quarter ended with the score of 65-30, ABM basketball boys is still on lead.
"Their game wasn't thrilling," Krystal commented, looking straight at the empty court.
"What do you mean?" Maica asked. "They are good no."
"You're right Rico's team are better players unlike their opponent that's why the game wasn't thrilling." Krystal shrugged, shifting her gaze on us.
"So you want both of them are better players?" Maica asked confusedly, tilting her head sideways.
Krystal nodded in agreement. "Yes, that's my point. So it wouldn't look like a bullying."
"Hahahaha!" I laughed hysterically, slapping Maica's right arm. "Krysta has a point. The game would be more intense if both teams are playing better.
"Well you do have point. And as you can see most audience are girls and I couldn't see plenty of men watching, meaning they are just here to watch Rico play," Maica mumbled.
"In other words, they just want to see Rico play and not looking for the game itself," Krystal uttered.
"Hey what are you talking about?"
We looked at Rico who suddenly popped up in front of us, holding a bottled water with towel wrapping around his neck.
"You really are mushroom no?" I uttered sarcastically as we both chuckled.
"Anyways, thank you for watching my play," he said, wiping his sweats.
"It's nothing. I just want to see if you're good enough," I teased, raising an eyebrow.
"So how was it? Am I good enough?" he asked, leaning closer as I backed away a little.
"Hmm not bad."
He backed away, shaking his head as he laughed. "I see I see. Still thank you."
"Can't believe you can jump like that," I muttered amazingly.
"Nothing is impossible to me," he said arrogantly, placing his fist against his chest.
"Pft!" Maica covered her mouth, peeking at us. Rico immediately turn his attention to my friend.
"Why am I not good enough Señorita Maica?" he asked, curving a teasing smile.
"Yes you're still a rookie for me," Maica scoffed, rolling her eyes.
"Hahahaha! Coming from the girl who didn't have chance to play at their first half." He laughed devilishly.
Krystal and I glanced at each other, holding each others laughter. Maica on the other hand raised an eyebrow at Rico.
"You're quite annoying are not you?"
"Indeed hahaha!" Rico turn around to face me. "I'll go now, the fourth quarter will begin anytime soon."
"Okay! We'll still watch you from here!" I said as we slammed each other hands.
"I'm looking forward to it," he mumbled as he ran towards his teammates.
